American Express® Cardmembers are invited to register for a limited number of
passes for themselves and one guest to attend the Movie Mavericks Party and join award-
winning Canadian filmmakers Deepa Mehta and Michael McGowan to witness a
celebration of “Movie Mavericks”.
Cardmember and guest can register:
To attend the American Express Movie Mavericks Party at the Art Gallery of Calgary from
7 to 9:30pm on Friday, September 26, 2008, where complimentary hospitality and the
chance to mingle with our special guests in the film industry will be provided. Each
guest will receive 2 complimentary alcoholic beverage drink tickets.

How to access this Party:
On Wednesday, September 24, from 10am - 5pm MT, Cardmembers can call 1-866-771-8005
and register themselves and one guest for the American Express Movie Mavericks
Party. Registration is on a first come, first served basis and is limited to 60
Cardmembers plus their guest (total of 120 persons).
Please note that:
In order to register, Cardmembers must provide the 1-800 number that appears on the
back of their American Express Card, their full name as it appears on their Card, and
day and night time telephone numbers.
All participants must be 18 years of age or older.
On the day of the event, in order to access the American Express Movie Mavericks
Party, Cardmembers must present their American Express Card and Cardmember and guest
will be required to present photo identification showing proof of age. Cardmember`s name
on the Card and personal identification must match the name on the guest list. You and
your guest must both be present at the time of registration.
Cardmember and guest will be required to sign a form of “Release, Waiver and
Indemnity” as well as “Use of Name, Voice and Image Consent” in order to participate in
the Party.
American Express reserves the right to refuse entry to Cardmembers whose names
and/or personal identification do not match the guest list or Cardmembers and guests who
fail to present personal identification showing proof of age.
American Express reserves the right to terminate or change the Movie
Mavericks Party at any time without notice due to cancellation or rescheduling of the
event or any other circumstances beyond the control of American Express.

number of Janet Jackson Special Experience passes to watch Janet Jackson at a sound
check and attend an American Express party on September 28, 2008 at Air Canada Centre in
Toronto - Gate 2 Entrance. The fun begins at 3:30pm. Cardmember and guest will
get:
Janet Jackson Special Experience:
• An exclusive up close sound check experience.
• To attend the American Express party at The Air Canada Club, where you will
enjoy complimentary hospitality.
• A chance to enter a draw to win a meet and greet and autograph with Janet
Jackson. Each participating guest will be given a set of identical serial-numbered draw
tickets. The guests will drop one ticket into a ballot box at the American Express
registration table and keep the other one as identification proof to claim the
prize.
• To watch the Janet Jackson concert at 7:30pm.
How to access this Special Experience:
On Thursday, September 25th, from 10am - 5pm EST, Cardmembers can call 1-888-832-2317
and register themselves and one guest for the Janet Jackson Special Experience.
Registration is on a first come, first served basis and is limited to 70 Cardmembers
plus their guest (total of 140 persons).
Please note that:
• In order to register, Cardmembers must provide the 1-800 number that appears on
the back of their American Express Card, their full name as it appears on their Card,
and day and night time telephone numbers.
• This is an all ages experience.
• On the day of the event, in order to access the Janet Jackson Special
Experience, Cardmembers must present their American Express Card and will be required to
present personal identification. Cardmember`s name on the Card and personal
identification must match the name on the guest list. Please present at the time of
registration.
• Cardmember and guest will be required to sign a form of Release, Waiver and
Indemnity in order to participate in the Janet Jackson Experience.
