Make the most out of your Membership Rewards points by enrolling in Starwood Preferred Guest. When you do, you will be able to transfer your Membership Rewards points into StarpointsSM at the rate of 1,000 Membership Rewards points to 230 Starpoints*.

How do I transfer my points?
- Call Starwood Preferred Guest at 1-888-625-4988 to check room availability for your intended dates. Be sure to tell the reservation agent you intend to use Starpoints. Room availability may be limited.
- If a room is available, make a reservation and get a confirmation number.
- Call American Express at 1-800-668-2639 to transfer your Membership Rewards into your Starwood Preferred Guest Account. You should transfer Membership Rewards Points to a frequent guest program only if you have a confirmed reservation, because you can't reverse a points transfer.
- Allow 3 - 5 business days for the transfer to be completed.
- Call the hotel back to confirm that the points have been transferred. Then apply the points in your frequent guest program account to the reservation.

*In order to transfer points your Membership Rewards program account must be linked to your Starwood Preferred Guest account. To become a Starwood Preferred Guest, call 1-888-625-4988 or visit www.preferredguest.com. To link your accounts call American Express at 1-800-668-2639. Subject to all terms and conditions of the Starwood Preferred Guest Program. Cardmembers may transfer a minimum of 3,000 points from his/her Program Account to a participating hotel frequent guest account held in the Cardmember's name provided the Cardmember has made one qualified stay in the 12 months preceding the point transfer request. In addition, transfers must be made in 1,000 point increments.
